Gene Silverblatt, Doctor and Counselor of Law
Gene has been practicing law in Central Texas since 1981 when he arrived at Fort Hood as a Captain in the Army Judge Advocate General's Corps. From that first job doing estate planning for soldiers, retirees, and their families, through his establishment of Silverblatt Law Office in January 1985, and up to the present time, Gene has always demonstrated a passion for estate planning, trusts, and elder law. He was often assigned to teach this subject area to lawyers from throughout the U.S. Army at their legal training center at the University of Virginia and retired as a Colonel. He is also very active in many community and civic organizations as you will see in the attached resume.
Amanda Mahlstedt, Senior Paralegal and Office Manager
Amanda is a top graduate of the paralegal program at Central Texas College. Among her past accomplishments is working as a branch manager for a local bank. She has been with the firm for over 15 years and serves as the senior paralegal, case manager, and lead draftsman of legal documents. She is also Dr. Silverblatt's administrative assistant and office manager.
Heather Farran, Associate Paralegal
Heather is our estate planning paralegal and a graduate of the paralegal program at Central Texas College. Since 2006 Heather has been dedicated to supporting and advocating for U.S Army families across the globe.
